Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the LinkU platform who offer or use services via our website or app. By registering and using the platform, you accept these Terms in their current version.

Note: During beta phase, the platform may be subject to temporary limitations or changes in functionality.

• Task posters (clients) and task helpers (service providers) must register with accurate information
• Verification (via email or phone number) may be required
• False information will result in account suspension
• During beta, registration may be limited to invited users

• Task posters create assignments with clear description, budget and deadline
• The platform suggests suitable helpers but doesn't guarantee task completion
• Helpers can accept or decline task requests
• Beta note: Matching features are being optimized

• Payments are processed through integrated payment providers (e.g., Stripe).
• The platform charges a Platform Fee to the task giver: a fixed fee (5 CHF / 6 EUR) plus a percentage of the agreed task amount (subject to change).
• The agreed task amount is held in escrow by LinkU until the task is completed.
• Upon task completion, the task giver releases the escrow. The full agreed amount is then paid out to the helper – no commission deducted from the helper.
• If the task giver does not release the escrow within the agreed period, LinkU may release it automatically.
• During the beta phase, payment processing may require additional verification.

• Users can rate each other after task completion
• Ratings must be factual and constructive
• Defamatory content will be removed
• Rating system may be adjusted during beta

The platform is not responsible for:

• Quality or legality of services provided by users
• Damages from incorrect user information or fraud
• Technical disruptions (except intentional misconduct)
• Beta note: Service may experience more frequent updates

Helpers are independent service providers, not LinkU employees.

• User data is processed according to our Privacy Policy
• Contact details are only shared for task coordination

• Users may delete their account at any time
• LinkU may suspend accounts for violations of these Terms
• During beta, we may request feedback before account closure

• We may modify these Terms and will notify users of changes
• Objections within 14 days will result in account deletion
• Terms may update more frequently during beta

• Swiss law governs these Terms
• Invalid provisions don't affect remaining Terms
